Tue, January 2, 2007 - 8:01 AMI was moderating a completely inactive group, and I just randomly passed moderator status to another group member.
Naturally, I heard two weeks later from a member who expressed interest in moderating, but he wasn't all that miffed at my randomness. It was possibly bad form, but also fun to do.
